PRIVACY STATEMENT MMF TRANSPARANT B.V.
MMF Transparant B.V. (hereinafter: MMF) respects your privacy and understands that it is important to you that your privacy is not violated. We therefore make every effort to treat and process the data you disclose to us confidentially. Our starting point is to treat and process as little of your data as possible; all this for the sake of your privacy.
The provisions in this privacy statement apply to what happens on our website (https://www.mmftransparant.nl/) if you contact us via the website by means of the contact form or email, and/or if you, as a customer, enter into a relationship with us.
We advise you to read this statement carefully so that you know exactly what we are doing to protect your privacy. Should you have any further questions after reading this privacy statement, please let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org. You may of course also give us a call on +31 (0)23 528 8611.
If you have entered into contract for services with us, it will refer to this privacy statement on our website. If you have entered into an employment contract with us, this privacy statement will be included as an addendum to the contract. In addition, this privacy statement can be viewed on our website at all times.
In general, you can expect from us with regard to our website that:
we do not monitor visitors to our website. In other words, we only keep track of how many visitors our websites attract;
we do not check and/or process your IP address;
we do not check and/or process from where you visit our website;
If you contact us by email and/or using the contact form on our websites, we will treat this information confidentially. We do register your email address, name and telephone number, but only for the purpose for which you contact us. In other words, we need to be able to reach you in order to answer your question. Once we have answered your question, we will either delete the data or save it in the file if some form of collaboration results from the contact moment. In the event of a collaboration, we will enter into an order confirmation/agreement with you, in which we will once again set out how we deal with your private details.
We will not use the information disclosed by you to contact you unsolicited, nor will we send you an unsolicited newsletter or information about our company.
If any collaboration between yourself and our company is established, we will only retain your data to the extent and for as long as this is necessary for the performance of the contract for services.
If no collaboration is established, we will delete your details as soon as we establish that no collaboration has been established as a result of your contact with us.
If you become a customer of our company, we will retain your data until the customer relationship with you ends. We will also delete your data at your request, subject to the statutory retention periods.
MMF may process your personal data, either because you disclosed them yourself by filling in the contact form on our website, or because you use the services of our company. By using our services, you consent to the processing of your personal data by MMF.
MMF may process the following personal data:
– First name and surname;
– Address information;
– Telephone number;
– Email address;
– Date of birth;
– Bank details;
Basis for processing
The personal data of customers are processed according to the basis ‘performance of an agreement’, i.e. the contract for services as concluded between the customer and MMF. If the parties have not yet concluded a contract for services, but the conclusion thereof is in line with expectations, the (future) customer’s personal data will be processed on a ‘legitimate interest’ basis.
Data of (potential) future customers who fill in the contact form on the website are processed on a ‘legitimate interest’ basis; after all, the personal data of these prospects are processed in order to (possibly) conclude an agreement between the parties.
Finally, personal data relating to, among other things, invoicing are processed on a ‘legal obligation’ basis.
MMF processes your personal data within the context of performing a contract for services concluded with you, which also includes contacting you by telephone or in writing (by email or by post) in connection with this agreement. In the event that an agreement has not yet been concluded, MMF will process your personal data to enable the conclusion of such an agreement.
Personal data relating to invoicing are processed to enable invoicing and to comply with the legal obligation concerning the retention period.
MMF does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are collected. This means that your personal data will be deleted as soon as the customer relationship with you comes to an end.
Personal data stored on the basis of a legal obligation, such as financial documents and invoices, are kept for the statutory period of 7 years.
Sharing with third parties
MMF will only disclose your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the contract for services or the employment contract with you, or in order to comply with a legal obligation. MMF has entered into agreements with all processors of personal data to which these operations are outsourced by our company in order to safeguard your privacy.
Accessing, modifying or deleting data
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. You can send a request for access, correction or deletion to email@example.com. MMF will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within three weeks.
Filing a complaint
You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (DPA) if MMF does not comply with the above.
Because we carry out a lot of electronic communication and store your data on our computers or in the cloud (only with reputable parties that have an optimal level of security), it is possible that your data fall into the hands of third parties (hackers, for example). However, we endeavour to minimise the chances of this happening. For example, our website has a ‘SSL certificate’. This is an encryption of the communication, so that the information cannot easily fall into the hands of third parties.
We also use virus scanners, ensure that the software we use is up to date and only work with software suppliers that have a high level of security.
We have also paid specific attention in physical and organisational terms to the confidentiality of the information you disclose to us.
Finally, we have made clear agreements about your privacy with the parties we work with.
If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured, or that there are indications of misuse, or if you would like more information about the security of the personal data collected by us, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
