Plastic is one of the main causes of environmental pollution. Throughout the world, government agencies and leading companies have set themselves a goal. By 2025, they will stop producing unnecessary plastic and will generate no more plastic waste. This is an amazing ambition, one that has also been endorsed by the packaging industry. We all need to tackle the problem at source and make a collective effort to find innovative solutions. In this way, we should certainly be able to reuse or recycle 100% of our packaging waste (or convert it into compost) by 2025. You can get started on that today!

We used to assemble these items of packaging from different materials but now – with the introduction of innovative techniques – this is no longer necessary. We now manufacture them from just one type of material – polyester or polypropylene or polyethylene, all of which are 100% recyclable! An added benefit is that all these items of packaging can now be handled as a single waste stream. This makes them much easier to recycle.
